A little about me…
I love getting to know my nurses who are from a variety of different places. It is also important to know who your recruiter is as well, so here is a little information about me. ;)
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. And yes, I'm a die hard Seahawks fan! I come from a family of immigrants and from them I learned the value of hard-work and perseverance. I moved to Los Angeles, California many years ago to be with my boyfriend who is now my husband. We have a very unique love story. With over 15 years of extensive recruiting experience, I fell in love with working alongside different clinicians. In fact, many people think that I am a one just because I spend so much time with them. While I am not a clinician, I do enjoy their company. Healthcare workers are amazing, warm-hearted, and exceptional people
Something that makes me unique as a Travel Recruiter is that I actively visit parts of the country to meet my Clinicians in person. I also believe its important to ensure that my relationship with each one goes beyond just being on the phone. As much as it is in my power to do, I often meet up with my clinicians in-person when they have time.
Unlike other recruiters who merely care about the initial securing of a job for their clients, I inform, educate, and support my healthcare workers on how to navigate their job throughout the year. Due to my extensive knowledge as an expert in recruiting regarding these topics, I have been a featured as guest speaker on podcasts, special events, workshops.
In the same way, nurses look for the right recruiter to work with, I also onboard the right nurses for my team.
At the end of each call with a new nurse, I always share the three ethics that I value most in my relationship with each nurse: honesty, transparency, and good communication.
It is important that the nurses I partner want this kind of relationship. I am not a recruiter for everyone, but if you are looking for a recruiter that values the same ethics that I do, we will be great together!
